Dear Readers,

I walked home from a gallery opening last night, a bit deflated. All those perfect canvases, all that pristine art… it felt distant from real life. Then I looked down. The sidewalk was a mess of cracks, but tiny wildflowers were pushing through. It was a punch in the gut! Such amazing art. I was thinking 'why not capture that gritty beauty?'

This image idea is all about celebrating the unexpected beauty in urban spaces. It's about resilience, finding light in the dark. We see these cracks every day, without noticing their artistic value.

I’d absolutely recommend this for a t-shirt. Imagine wearing that reminder – that even when things are broken, life finds a way. A coffee mug would also be super cool. Waking up every morning and taking my coffee from this mug would improve my day for sure!. For a wall print it is cool to have something to remind us about hope and inspiration in daily life.
