We run to get ahead. Sometimes faster sometimes slowing down, only to pick our rhythm up again a moment later like nothing changes really. On these days on the edges of time between late summer drizzles and the crispy light foggy mornings, an old film seemed particularly evocative. It made me reach once again for this intriguing blend: impressionistic washes splashed on blurry images sharp lines intersecting geometric blocks with almost pointillist accuracy It is exactly the essence I catch daily on drenched pavements after rain. Fleeting colorful splotches in continuous frenzied metamorphosis that dissolve seamlessly into the darkness of my city.

I like to feature the urban fabric in most artworks sometimes I play with shadows, some photo composition features only portions of architecture the glass reflection become my new obsessional object of desire they remind me of Gerhard Richter squeegeed abstractions, all the while anchored to a narrative framework through fashion and colors taken out from movies. A play on the quotidian captured forever: fleeting moments I don’t want the city to forget.
